About Green Building Chronicle

Green Building Chronicle is a online publication dedicated to informing Atlanta and Georgia’s green development, design and construction community.

Our audience includes architects, builders, developers, property managers, trades people, suppliers, advocates, educators, planners, innovators, and anyone else engaged in sustainable construction and infrastructure. We aim not only to provide fresh, insightful information that’s relevant to the green building community, but also to create a virtual community where members of the community can inform each other.

The site is edited by award-winning environmental journalist Ken Edelstein, with support from Kennesaw State University’s Center for Sustainable Journalism, where Edelstein is a visiting fellow. On the site, you’ll also find columns by Carl Seville, the ”Green Curmudgeon”; by Noah Lekas, who’s Green Building Chronicle’s assistant publisher; and by a variety of freelance professional journalists.

But you’ll also find articles written by, well … you! Professionals, advocates, businesses and nonprofits can submit articles to us in the form of “Inside Stories” that we publish for free. Among these user-generated articles are opinion pieces, event or issue coverage, announcements, and even press releases. Because we’re a journalistic site, we treat promotional and advocacy information a bit differently from our regular content — we disclose potential conflicts of interest and run it separately from our main blog feed.

The quickest way to get involved with Green Building Chronicle is to register as a member. As a member, you’ll be able to contribute to our Inside Stories section.

Meanwhile here are three great  ways to keep up with us:
